The Sharpworks Fast Loader will allow you to convert your standard MZ cassette
tapes into fast loading ones. You can load any type of program in from a normal
tape and then save it in the new 'fast' format. You can then use the Fast Loader
to load your programs much faster than usual, effectively achieving twice the
usual speed.
Not only this but you can also then convert any programs you like (including
your own) into a standalone 'fast' format which can then be loaded on any MZ
whether you have the Fast Loader software or not.
Below we show a trial run of the software (pre-release version).
The Fast Loader will be compatible with MZ-80K, MZ-80A, MZ-1200 and MZ-700. We will provide modified versions of the standard BASIC for each machine also so that LOAD/SAVE commands will make use of the new fast file format.
